Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Foundation Review

Hello huns! A little while ago whilst in Harvey Nichols I decided to finally treat myself to the Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able foundation. It had been a product I had had my eye on for a little while, so whilst I was there I finally bought it home with me.

I’ve never tried anything from Marc Jacobs beauty line and I had seen lots of good reviews about the Re(Marc)able foundation. It is described on Harveynichols.com as:

Instant full coverage. All-day weightless wear. Less is more.
Inspired by Marc’s love of a radiant complexion, Marc Jacobs’ Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate delivers instant full coverage in a single dot – for less foundation and more coverage that lasts up to 24 hours.

This revolutionary formula offers twice as much pigment as a leading full-coverage foundation, but in an oil-free base that blends instantly across the complexion to completely cover pores, blemishes, and other imperfections in the thinnest possible layer. These pigments are made of patented golden mica to give the complexion a more radiant, natural-looking glow. The pigments are wrapped in lecithin – an ingredient with a texture that feels similar to skin – to blend effortlessly and meld with the complexion for a smooth, soft-matte finish.

The packaging is boujee, with a frosted glass bottle and black lid. The applicator is like a spatula, which I would’ve liked to of had a doe foot applicator or something for £37 but it does the job. For £37 you get 22ml of product, which compared to my Becca Skin Love which has 35ml for £32, it’s the most expensive with not that much product. However, less really is more with the foundation as I found out the hard way.

I have the shade Ivory Medium, the first time I used this foundation I forgot the beauty advisor on Marc Jacobs said less is more, so I applied a dots all over my face. As I started to blend it, the product looked thick and quite orange. So I took it all off and started again, this time I only applied two dots on each cheek. This blended out a lot better and matched my skin tone perfectly.

The foundation makes my skin look flawless without being super matte, it just looks like my skin but better! Whilst it is super expensive for not a lot of product, as its full coverage I only used 6 dots for my face and the coverage was perfect. It lasts me all day/night and I just love this foundation. I know it won’t crease or start to break up around my face. Which is perfect for special occasions or going out for the evening.

Overall I think this foundation is the best I’ve tried, which is a little annoying as it’s the most expensive too! But with only use a few dots each time, I think this will last me a while. Thank you so much for reading! What’s your go to foundation?

Until next time
