Sleek are a brand I haven’t really tried a lot from, not for any particular reason. Their highlighter palettes are the only thing I’ve tried and loved, so when I was gifted a few Sleek gift sets I was intrigued to try more.Continue reading
Recently whilst perusing the isles of Boots, always a dangerous thing to do, I noticed Sleek had a new concealer out, the LifeProof concealer. I was looking to try a new concealer after repurchasing the NYX HD Concealer 4 times. I have Sleek’s LifeProof foundation for my makeup kit for uni and it’s a good foundation. So I swatched a few shades that were available and decided to pick one up.Continue reading
Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the festivities! Today I have super quick and easy makeup look perfect for Christmas – or anytime of year really!Read more
After going through my makeup collection and rearranging how I organise my collection, I realised there were a number of products I either don’t reach for any more or just never use. So I thought what better way to make use of them and see if I still like them than to do a makeup look with them!
There are a few products I haven’t included as there are either none in my collection I don’t like or none I have I don’t use. Products used to create this look;Continue reading
Hello everyone! Today I am doing a blog post that I don’t think I have done before; a full face using my favourite products from the drugstore! It could also be called My Staple Drugstore Products, but companies are always evolving and bringing out something new. So it’s difficult to say this one thing will always be my staple when it might not be in a few months time. Some are more mid-range within the drugstore but they can all be bought for under £15! So without further ado here is a makeup look using all my current favourites!
I decided to use a green liner as I don’t have a drugstore black one that I love, and I love to use the Vivid Brights from NYX as they are easy to use and add a pop of colour to any makeup look!Continue reading
Hello everyone! I can’t believe how cold it’s been here in the UK, as a result I have been suffering from a cold over the last week. It needs to hurry up and go! Anyway onto todays post I have all the makeup and skincare I’ve used up over the last 3 months! This year I have been doing empties every three months instead of every two like I did last year, making this one the penultimate one before the end of the year. Which is mad to think about as there is so much of the year left!
Hello everyone, I hope you are well! The UK had a gorgeous few months and it inspired me to start a weather inspired makeup series here on my blog. I have never done a series on my blog before and so thought that I would give it a go! In this series I will be creating wearable looks that are inspired by the seasons and the weather!
So to kick off this new series I thought what better way than with a sun inspired makeup look! It has been sunny over the past few weekends still here in the UK, so I thought I’d make the most of the sunny weather before it starts to get colder and greyer! I enjoyed wearing this look, it made me feel super happy and basically like a slice of sunshine, haha!Continue reading
In my two years of blogging I have never done a post like this. Over the past few weeks I have had a lot of weekends away, so thought I would share with you what products I take away with me! Personally I only like to take makeup I know is going to work and that I love. This way I know when I’m getting ready I haven’t got to worry about anything creasing or smudging or looking like a hot mess. Plus I don’t like to spend too long on my makeup for the day as I want to be out exploring and making the most of my time off!Continue reading
To celebrate finally going .com on my blog I thought I would reminisce and I looked back through my first blog posts. Giving me the inspiration to recreate one of my first makeup looks. I chose to do one of the first rather than the first as I wanted to do something with colour. So here is my recreation of my Pop of Green Makeup Tutorial!
As I love using the Solstice highlighting palette from Sleek, I thought I’d give their Precious Metals palette a go too. After swatching the palette in Boots, the shades looked so pretty and different to what I had in my collection, it came home with me.Continue reading
