Eyeshadow palettes are another makeup product I love to try, there are so many formulas and finishes it can be a little overwhelming to know which to go for! Last year when I was looking to add a colourful palette to my collection, the one I kept seeing over and over again was the Carnival palette from the bPerfect collaboration with Stacey Marie Makeup Artist.

What’s In My Travel Bag – Summer 2018 Edition

In my two years of blogging I have never done a post like this. Over the past few weeks  I have had a lot of weekends away, so thought I would share with you what products I take away with me! Personally I only like to take makeup I know is going to work and that I love. This way I know when I’m getting ready I haven’t got to worry about anything creasing or smudging or looking like a hot mess. Lets Talk: About Being Self Confident

Growing up I was never someone who was naturally confident. I was shy and had zero self confidence. I over thought and over analysed everything and I never felt good enough.  I would look at the girls around me and wonder why I couldn’t be more like them: prettier, loads of friends and super confident.

In junior school I would be teased by the boys, they used to make fun of how big my lips were. They called me fish lips, pulling back their own lips to make them bigger. Being  9 I couldn’t understand why they would make fun of my lips. My parents would just say to ignore it and that they’re only jealous. Which still didn’t make sense to me, why would they be jealous of my lips and convey it by making fun of me?!

Trying Out New Rimmel Products

I’ve never done a post on trying out multiple products from one brand. Recently I was sent some new eye products to try out from Rimmel* and thought it would be the perfect time to try out a different style post. I was sent the Wonder Wing Eyeliner, Wonder’Fully Real Mascara and the Magnif’Eyes Eye Contouring Palette.

Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette | Review

As I love using the Solstice highlighting palette from Sleek, I thought I’d give their Precious Metals palette a go too. After swatching the palette in Boots, the shades looked so pretty and different to what I had in my collection, it came home with me.
