What’s In My Travel Bag – Summer 2018 Edition

In my two years of blogging I have never done a post like this. Over the past few weeks  I have had a lot of weekends away, so thought I would share with you what products I take away with me! Personally I only like to take makeup I know is going to work and that I love. This way I know when I’m getting ready I haven’t got to worry about anything creasing or smudging or looking like a hot mess. No 7 Airbrush Away Primer | Review

Hello everyone! I am still settling into my new routine and so my blog has been taking a back seat for a little while. As I am getting used to the routine please bear with me! Hopefully soon I’ll get back into balancing everything equally! Onto today’s post! Since I got the No 7 Airbrush Away Primer in their Advent Calendar last year it has been my Holy Grail primer. It’s the best primer I’ve ever used and it does all the things I want it to. Seeing as I use it for all my tutorials and everyday makeup, I thought it was about time I do a review on it!

Lets Talk: About Being Self Confident

Growing up I was never someone who was naturally confident. I was shy and had zero self confidence. I over thought and over analysed everything and I never felt good enough.  I would look at the girls around me and wonder why I couldn’t be more like them: prettier, loads of friends and super confident.

In junior school I would be teased by the boys, they used to make fun of how big my lips were. They called me fish lips, pulling back their own lips to make them bigger. Being  9 I couldn’t understand why they would make fun of my lips. My parents would just say to ignore it and that they’re only jealous. Which still didn’t make sense to me, why would they be jealous of my lips and convey it by making fun of me?!
