Hello everyone and happy Monday! I hope you are all well, I’m currently in the middle of so much uni work I’m not sure where to begin tackling my never ending to-do list! As my last term is flying by, it has got me thinking about holidays and where I want to visit. So I thought I would make a mini Bucket List here and share with you a few of the places I’d love to visit!

My Fave Blog Posts of 2018

Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the festive season! As the year comes to an end I thought I would round up all my favourite blog posts from this year. I haven’t done this type of post before on my blog, so why not make a start now! Whilst I love all the posts I publish, there are always some that mean more than others. Or I just love in general!

Day Trip to Bristol | Travel Diary

Recently my parents and I went for a day trip to Bristol. Bristol isn’t far from where we live and so we took the train over, ending up at Bristol Train Station which isn’t far from the harbour, aquarium, we the curious and of course Cabot Circus shopping centre. When we went to Bristol Gromit Unleashed 2 was still running, which is a trail around Bristol of different Gromits, Wallace’s and Feathers McGraw. Which if you didn’t know are characters from a British cult classic Wallace and Gromit, an inventor and his dog! The trail raises money for charities with the help of the sculptures, with 60 to find dotted around.

The trail started in June and ended at the beginning of September. Whilst in Bristol with my parents we walked towards the harbour, passing St Mary Radcliffe Church as we went. We stopped outside to take a picture with Gromit and to go inside the church.

Day Trip to Bath | Travel Diary

Last week my best friend and I went to spend the day in Bath. I have been to Bath a handful of times,  for me it’s under an hour away on the train, but I haven’t really gone to Bath for any other reason than to go shopping or to their Christmas Market. So when my best friend and I both had a day off we decided to spend the day in Bath and explore more of the city!

We started our trip off with a breakfast date before catching the train over to Bath. It was colder than we were expecting so to warm ourselves up we perused the shops whilst we waited for the sun to work its magic. Bath has lots of shops to choose from, many shops which aren’t local to me so we made the most of seeing what they had to offer.

Warner Bros. Studios Harry Potter Tour London

Ever since Harry Potter Studio Tours opened in London I have wanted to go. Admittedly I was late to the Harry Potter band wagon (surprise surprise) but I loved reading the books.  So earlier in the year Tom and I booked to go. We were super excited to see the Studio Tour!

We took the train to London and a few more trains to get to the Studio Tour. When we arrived we were super excited. Our time slot to enter into the tour was between 1.30-2pm. Of course the organised people we are, we were in the cue at 1.27pm. That’s how ready we were to start the tour.  Below are some of the photos I took from the day. The pictures aren’t the best because the lighting inside the studio gave off a blue/red hue.

The Concept of Time

As a child I never really understood the concept of time. Being young, time seemed infinite. One day I’d be 16, 21, 30, 40 etc but I never saw my self those ages. I knew that everyday people’s time was up, but I could never imagine myself not being. Now that I’m older and have passed some age milestones, the time literally flies by. It feels like ages ago it was the beginning of 2017 but also like no time at all and we are currently half way through the year.

Long Weekend in Cornwall

Earlier in the month Tom and I went for a long weekend away. When picking where we’d like to spend our time we decided upon Cornwall. I have never been to Cornwall and so I was excited to explore! A few days before we were due to go there I looked up things to do in Cornwall and I found so many things to do! So Tom and I narrowed it down to a few choices. I took so many photos from the long weekend and it was so hard to narrow it down to a hand full from each day!

We stayed in St Austell and it took us a good few hours to get there! When we did we first went to Charlestown, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Mainly because Tom wanted to surprise me by taking me there before we went to our hotel. Arriving in Charlestown, which is a village that has a Georgian Port, the weather was gorgeous. We grabbed a cold drink before exploring the village.
