When Nikkie Tutorials and Beauty Bay announced they were doing a collaboration I knew I needed the palette. Beauty Bay palettes are super pigmented and teaming up with one of the best makeup artists I knew the palette would be worth it! I was lucky enough to have ordered it on their first drop!
The palette is £25 for 20 shades and is available on Beauty Bays website. The palette is described as:
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, Glow Babies! Introducing the limited-edition NikkieTutorials x BEAUTY BAY Pressed Pigment Palette. We know you’re going to be as obsessed as we are! Featuring 20 pressed pigment shades curated by NikkieTutorials herself, the palette is packed with all the mattes, shimmer, and duo chromes you need to create Nikkie-approved looks. Designed to showcase the two sides of Nikkie’s personality, the bright and the dark, the palette features BEAUTY BAY’s iconic high-pigment formula for that major staying power. Have the best time creating, Glow Babies!
The packaging of the palette

There are 8 shimmers and 12 matte shades and they are, for the most part, shades I don’t have in my collection. The colour story is a mix of neutrals and pops of colour. The packaging is insanely detailed and just gorgeous. I love that it opens in the middle and has two mirrors on either side of the doors, one normal and the other micro.
When it comes to application the shades are super pigmented and you really don’t need a lot on the brush to get a good pigment on the eye. They are all super easy to build up colour and to blend out. I have had a lot of fun creating different looks using this palette. The only shades I haven’t enjoyed are Plot Twist I found it to be very meh and not as pigmented as I would like it and Basic Trut, it really is a basic colour and I can see why she’s put it in there but I know with a shade that’s close to my skin colour it won’t get used.

Overall I really like this palette, I can’t say enough how pigmented the shades are especially the shimmers they really are something else and I would buy the palette again purely for them!
