Quarantine Haul #2

It’s no surprise really I have another quarantine haul for you today. With the shops having queuing systems and not being able to try things on in store as well as being home all the time, I definitely took advantage and online shopped.

I made another order from Beauty Bay picking up the Beauty Bay x Mmmitchell Me Myself & Mmmitchell palette, it was another palette I had been eyeing up for a while so decided to finally bite the bullet and pick it up. I also picked up a facial roller and my first product from The Ordinary NIACINAMIDE 10% + ZINC 1% as my skin has really been spotty since the lockdown started.

From Cult Beauty I picked up Sunday Rileys Jet Lag mask to also help with my skin. I repurchased the Too Faced Better Than Sex Eyeliner as it’s my absolute fave and was out of stock everywhere else! Another item I couldn’t find anywhere else in stock was the NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner in Kitten Heels. Finally I decided to try my first product from Milk Makeup, their Hydro Grip Primer.

Onto Peaches and Cream, I picked up another 6 pigments as well as some of their brushes. I picked up the pigments Chain Mail, Hollywood, Gatsby, Disco, Wow and Dynamite. I decided this time to pick up more neutral colours as last time I picked all colourful pigments.

As for clothes, I didn’t order anything until May as I don’t really like online shopping. I find a lot of online stores the sizing to be really hit and miss. However, I did make my first order from Motel Rocks, whilst the sizing was a really nice fit and I was impressed with the quality. But the clothes are hand wash only, and I know that I won’t wear the pieces because of that. Or I’ll accidentally put them in the wash.

I didn’t make another order for a little while as there was nothing I felt like I needed or wanted. With the weather being so gorgeous in the UK during the end of May/beginning of June I realised my summer sandals needed replacing. Usually I would go to New Look and pick out a pair, which I do every year. But I decided to invest in a decent pair that would last longer than one summer, so bought my first pair of Doc Marten sandals! A lot of the styles were sold out in my size on their website as well as Schuh, however ASOS still had 2 styles I liked in my size, so I decided to just pick up both pairs whilst they were available and in stock.

Finally I picked up some neon pigments from Helen E Cosmetics as well as some baby brushes from Peaches & Cream so I could do more intricate looks! As you can tell from this haul I’ve definitely been picking up more makeup than anything else, but I have been wanting to up my game as well as my skill set!

Even though not all the shops are opening and eveything is starting to go back to normal, I definitely haven’t bought as much clothes as I would’ve for this time of year and have been enjoying my collection more by styling pieces in different ways! Thanks for reading, until next time
