I wasn’t sure what to call this post as it’s sort of a recap but also about the goals I set at the beginning of the year. You can see the goals I set at the beginning of the year here, and the things I wanted to do with the last few months here.
Living in the moment more & Don’t Think Just DO
With my goals this year I really feel like I have smashed them! I lived in the moment more by going out a lot more spontaneously and to last minute plans, which ended up being such great days/nights! Which also leads to not overthinking so much and just doing something if I want to do it. Of course I still overthink, but I am more in the mindset now of just doing something and if I don’t like it/doesn’t work out that’s okay. Life is all about trying things and seeing if they work or not, there’s not enough time to have regrets.

Take more photos
I have taken a lot of photos this year and filled up a photo album as well as started another, I love flicking through all the photos and being reminded of all the memories! I don’t go through them often and try to add more photos every so often, which I still need to add some from the end of the year!
Continue to gain confidence
My last goal was to gain more confidence, which I definitely feel I have. With going on holiday on my own it really boosted my confidence, I had such an amazing time. I also think I have worked a lot on my anxiety and not worrying about as many things. I hardly feel anxious any more, of course I still worry about things but I don’t let myself spiral down the rabbit hole any more. I am still learning to catch myself from going down the same thought process, but overall I feel am I much better at dealing with those emotions.
A better gym routine
With the goals I set myself in October, I was unable to get a proper gym routine in for the last few months as I have a condition that can flare up at any time, this time lasted around 5/6 weeks. So the gym was put on hold and it’s only in the last few weeks I’ve been able to go more regularly.

Get back into blogging
I have really been enjoying planning and thinking of content for my blog, whilst blogging isn’t what it used to be a few years ago and a lot more people tend to stick to instagram and other social media platforms, I personally still enjoy blogs and making content. Which I hope will continue into next year.
Go on another holiday
Unfortunately with having such a long flare up I didn’t go on another holiday, but I did go on a few days out which were fun.
Use my phone less
Something I think I’ve done quite well at limiting myself on, I try to stick to around 3 hours a day, which is still a lot. But that also includes creating content for my blog and instagram. Most days I actually manage to do less than 3, which I have found helps me be a lot more productive in other areas.
So overall I think I have done pretty well on my goals this year, I feel like the person I was in January has changed for the better to who I am now. It’s crazy how much a year, or even a month can change everything.
You’re only one decision away from a completely different life.
