Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer | Review

On my quest to find my holy grail concealer, I found more and more YouTubers I watched raving about the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion concealer. Which was either a coincidence or the universe telling me to buy it. Needless to say when I popped into Harvey Nichols earlier in the year, it came home with me.

For £25 you get 7g worth of product, which compared to my NYX HD for £6 there’s 3g worth of product. As I mentioned I bought mine from Harvey Nichols as Space NK didn’t have my shade in stock in store but they don’t have it online either (at the time of writing this). It is also available on Cult Beauty, it’s described as:

Coverage that won’t crease. A weightless feel with a blurring effect. 12 hours of high-performing wear. Sound like a concealer you could get on board with? Us. Too. Laura Mercier’s Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer is your next Holy Grail camouflaging tool. The medium-to-full coverage flexes with skin to seamlessly conceal under-eye darkness and any other imperfections, while granting all-day hydration. Incredibly lightweight, the formula feels undetectable, enriched with a blurring powder blend that diffuses light to smooth the look of fine lines and create a soft-focus effect. Also enriched with long-wearing, flexible polymers and innovative Skin Fusion technology, the formula ‘fuses’ to skin for 12 hours of wear that’s transfer, sweat, humidity and water-resistant. It’s available in 12 versatile shades to match your skin tone as closely as possible.

I have the shade 1N, which is slightly too light for me but 2N was too dark. As there are only 12 shades in the collection currently, it’s not a great selection. The packaging is a classic tube with a doe foot applicator, super easy to travel with and apply.

I have blue/purple under eyes, and depending on how well I have slept the night before they are either subtle or I look like I’ve been punched in the face. When I first applied this concealer I was amazed, not only does it brighten my under eyes, it makes me look like I’ve had a full nights sleep and pretty much makes my under eyes look flawless. It leaves a glowy, soft appearance.

Flawless Fusion doesn’t make my under eyes look dry nor caked. It blends right into my skin and I’m obsessed. This product does everything it claims to for me and it is everything I look for in a concealer. Even though it’s £25, so far mine has lasted me a good few months and doesn’t show signs of drying out or starting to run low.

If you’re in the market for a new concealer I highly recommend this one, whilst the price does put me off a little it’s so worth it every so often. What is your go to concealer? Thank you so much for reading, until next time
