Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer | Review

I have yet to find my absolute favourite concealer of all time, my Laura Mercier is good and I enjoy using it, but can’t justify using it every day for work when it costs £25. So whilst perusing the isles of Boots, what’s new, I decided to pick up the Photo Focus concealer from Wet n Wild as I enjoy using their Photo Focus Foundation.

For £3.99, an absolute steal, the concealer is described on Boots.com as:

I have the shade Light Ivory, and with only 5 shades to choose from there isn’t a great deal to chose from. Light Ivory is the perfect shade for me, it blends into my natural skin tone seamlessly. The formula gives a natural finish, it’s not dry or luminous just a happy medium which I love! I apply the concealer under my eyes, on my chin, down the bridge of my nose and any areas that are red/spotty.

The coverage on the concealer is amazing, it gives a medium coverage that is buildable without being cakey or drying. I wear this to work and on some evenings to gym straight after work. It lasts me all day without breaking up, it does crease slightly under my eyes, but is easily fixable by patting underneath my eyes.

In the photos above the first picture is before applying any makeup, the second is just with concealer applied and the third is after finishing my makeup for work. I just use the Photo Focus concealer under my eyes, on my chin and any redness around my nose, then set it with a powder foundation.

Other than slightly creasing after a full 10+ hours wear I really like this concealer. It doesn’t oxidise, break up or make my skin look dry. for £3.99 you really can’t go wrong, it’s super affordable and so far has lasted me a few months!
