Splurge Worthy Products

Hello, I hope you’re having a fab week. I have spent mine working on the last few bits ready for my last week at uni next week! Todays post is something a bit different, I have never done anything like this before in my blog. It’s all my fave high end products that I think are worth the splurge! I don’t often purchase high end makeup, often I read reviews and see if it’s worth spending coin on. So when I find a high end product that is worth the money, it’s a win win!

Bare Minerals Pro Foundation
This is more full coverage and whilst I do really like this, if my skin is drier than normal I have to prep my skin for this foundation or sticks to the dry areas. Other than that this is a really good foundation, it lasts for hours and only starts to break down after around 9+ hours on my skin.

BECCA Cosmetics Aqua Luminous Concealer
This is one of my first high end concealers in a while. I usually find as someone with pale skin and neutral undertones, concealers either are dark/oxadise or they are too pink/yellow toned for my skin. But this one sits really well under my eyes and matches my skin well. It’s easy to build up to get a fuller coverage and it doesn’t crease or break up on my skin. It’s great for an everyday look or an evening look!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Pressed Finishing Powder
This is another highend powder in a while and it is so worth it. It’s finely milled and adds a light coverage which I like to set either foundation or concealer. It doesn’t make me look shiny nor break up on my skin until around 9+ hours wear, but if taken out on a night out it just lasts and lasts!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed
I adore Becca highlighters. At £30 they are pricey, but the pan is huge and I have been using some of mine daily for over a year and there’s a small dent in it. As not much is used each time these really last. Plus they can be subtle or as blinding as you like, either add a small sweep or spray the skin with a facial spray before applying the highlight and POW you are good to go!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
I find I either hate or love a mascara, and whilst I have tried a fair amount none seem to beat this Urban Decay gem! There’s just something about this mascara that I love and can’t seem to find a cheaper alternative. It lightens, adds volumes and separates my lashes beautifully. It’s not clumpy and no matter how much I apply my lashes just get longer and more separated. I just adore this mascara!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick
I love liquid lipsticks and ABH is one of the best I have tried. They last for hours without my lips feeling dry and if a reapplication is needed my lips don’t feel cakey. There are so nana shades in their collection and I just love the formula!

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb
In 2018 I found my love for glosses and I constantly saw Rihanna’s Gloss Bombs being raved about. So on a trip to Bristol where they have a Fenty Beauty counter, I picked up the highly sought after gloss. It doesn’t disappoint! It’s not sticky, makes my lips look plump and luscious. It applies beautifully on top of any nude lipstick and I am obsessed.
