I have had Makeup Geek eyeshadows for the longest time and they are some of my favourite eyeshadows! They have been in my collection for quite some time and

I have a few different shades in a Z palette, I purchased all the shades and the Z palette to store them in from Beauty Bay. The regular eyeshadow pan is £4.95 and foiled eyeshadows are £7.95 each. The eyeshadow pans are described on BeautyBay.com as:
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan is a highly pigmented eyeshadow designed to fit into an empty refillable palette.
Fabulously cruelty-free, Eyeshadow Pan glides exquisitely onto the eyelids, coating the skin in outstanding colour allowing for full creative control. With such a vast selection to choose from including sultry smokey hues, classic nudes, pastel shimmers and bright mattes, these revolutionary eyeshadows can be mixed and matched, creating truly dimensional and unique looks.
And the foiled shadows are described as:
A creamy eyeshadow with a foiled metallic finish. Coating the eyes in a unique metallic colour, Foiled Eyeshadow Pan delivers high-opacity coverage resulting in effortlessly classic results that will leave everybody in awe. With a high colour-payoff and a metallic finish guaranteed, Foiled Eyeshadow Pan is designed to fit in any empty refillable palette such as the Z Palette (Sold separately) and allows you to create your own unique collection.
I love both formulas and they are so pigmented, there’s hardly any fallout and there are so many shades from both formulas to chose from. These are one of my favourite formulas, I love that you can create your one palette and chose shades you know you’ll use.

The only downside is that an empty palette, such as a Z palette to put all the shadows in. Other than that I love Makeup Geek shadows, a few of my fave shades include:
- Cocoa Bear – reddy brown shade with a matte finish
- Frappe – Matte maple brown
- Bitten – Deep maroon red with a matte finish
- Corrupt -Intense matte black
- Shimma Shimma – A shimmer finish light beige/pink
- In The Spotlight – Pink with coral undertones and a foiled finish
Here are a few looks in which I used using Makeup Geek shadows:
I love using Makeup Geek shadows and they are a staple in my collection! I find them to be so pigmented with hardly any fall out. A little can really go a long way! Makeup Geek used to be really popular, but now as more and more palettes are being released, unless you want a specific shade then it does work out cheaper to buy a palette compared to loads of these shades plus a Z palette. That’s my personal opinion, I love these shadows and still reach for them all the time. Thank you so much for reading! What are your favourite eyeshadows? Until next time

Have you seen that Marlena is going to relaunching / reformulating the shadows in the Spring? She shared some swatches on Twitter and they look so stunning!
