Over the last few years on my blog I have written down a few of my goals I want to achieve throughout the year to share with you. This year I wasn’t planning on writing one. However, as I sat down to write up a different blog post, I hard the urge to write down a few goals.
Living in the moment more
In the next 365, which seems like a long time by oh my time really seems to be speeding up, I want to live in the moment more. I am someone who constantly plans ahead, thinking about the next adventure or more than likely the next uni assignment and what I’ll do when I leave uni. But more recently I have been getting invited to things that are last minute, and where I would usually stay home I’ve been agreeing to go out. Not because of FOMO, but I want to put more time into friendships and making memories. As they say, there’s always another time to catch up on sleep but not making memories

Take more photos
I did a lot more of this in 2018, I even created my own photo album filled with my adventures and printed out all my favourite pictures. I want to continue taking photos and printing them out. The photos I take, I look at a few times then forget, but having a physical copy and album I can see all my memories without having to scroll on a screen!
Continue to gain confidence
I definitely feel like the last few months of 2018 I gained a lot more confidence within myself. I want to continue to grow as a person, not letting what makes me feel anxious or worried stop me from doing the things I want to. We only get one life, so may as well live it and experience as much as we can.

Don’t Think Just DO
This sort of goes hand in hand with to live in the moment more. I am someone who is a worrier and over thinker. Something I started to do towards the end of 2018 was to not think as much about things I want to do, if I want to do something then just do it. Worrying about things won’t get very far either. Usually it’s about something that hasn’t happened/very unlikely to happen. So is pretty much giving too much energy to things that are so unlikely to happen, our brain likes to trick us into thinking the worst.
So those are a few of my 2019 goals, I am excited to see what this year has to bring. If 2018 was anything to go by, anything can happen. Do you have any goals for 2019, if so what are they?
