To celebrate finally going .com on my blog I thought I would reminisce and I looked back through my first blog posts. Giving me the inspiration to recreate one of my first makeup looks. I chose to do one of the first rather than the first as I wanted to do something with colour. So here is my recreation of my Pop of Green Makeup Tutorial!

One of the first makeup looks I did – April 2016

Recreating that look – June 2018
As you can see from the photos, the difference is mad! I have learnt so many new techniques and tried many different products since then! Looking back at when I first started my blog to where I am now, I feel so proud of myself! I have stuck with this slice of the internet for over 2 years now and I don’t see myself stopping any time soon. If anything I feel more inspired than I have in a long time! So thank you to everyone who have ever viewed, liked, commented and followed because you really helped me to believe in myself and to keep pursuing something I adore!
Anyway, onto all the products I used for this recreation;
Eyes:
NYX HD Eyeshadow Base
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows in Frappe & Cocoa Bear
Stila Shimmer & Glow in La Douce
Still Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
Skin:
No 7 Airbrush Away Pore Minimising Primer
Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
NYX #NoFilter Finishing Powder
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 02
Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop
Sleek Blush by 3 Palette in Lace using all 3 blushes
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Brows:
NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade in 02 Chocolate
Lips:
NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner in Stockholm
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Hudson
Buxom Full On Lip Cream in White Russian
The only thing I didn’t include was false lashes as I have recently had an LVL which doesn’t make it easy to apply false lashes, plus it makes my lashes go super long! Thank you so much for reading, let me know in the comments below x. Until next time
