2,000 Subscribers & Where Am I Going?

Over the weekend I hit 2,000 subscribers, which is crazy! When I started this little space, this little corner of the internet I was never even sure where I was going to take it or even if I would keep it up. I know in the grand scheme if things 2,000 people is a ripple if the ocean. But to me it’s a massive achievement.

Over the past few months I have also been trying out YouTube. At first I wasn’t sure it was for me, but recently over the past few weeks I have been filming more and I have been enjoying it more. So my blog has been taking a bit of a back step whilst I branch out.

I feel like doing both my blog and Youtube whilst doing a full time job and life in general is definitely a balancing act. I’m not complaining at all because it’s my choice to do these things. But the question I keep asking myself is where am I going?

My actual job has nothing to do with beauty or anything like that. I would love it if this could take off and be my full time job. Of course hard work and commitment pays off, and I am definitely putting in more of both. I have just been feeling a little lost. Since I started to get closer to hitting 2,000 I felt like I should know by now where I am going and how to get there. When in reality I am still very much on the journey to where ever I am going and there is no set way of getting there.

Being a full time blogger/YouTuber is very much my end goal. I know there are thousands, probably millions with the same goal wanting to be theirs. It’s very much a stroke of luck.  Don’t get me wrong, in no way am I complaining. I love blogging and making YouTube videos and for now it remains a passion of mine.

So in answer to where am I going, I’m still very much on the path of blogging and making makeup videos. Feeling a little lost is okay. It helps regain focus and to think about what feels right, if something is really wanted and ultimately if it should be continued. I don’t ever want to lose passion for either or to be anything but positive.

Please help me! I am also stuck on how to incorporate my YouTube makeup tutorials on my blog. Would you guys still want them posted on here with a description of what I did/products used? Or maybe a separate page for all the video tutorials and another page for reviews/hauls/empties etc? Or just keep to reviews/life posts on here and tutorials just on YouTube? I would be grateful to hear your feedback/preference/opinion!
