Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fab New Years whatever you got up to! To start off my first post of 2017 I am doing a review on the Boots Botanics Facial Oil 100% Organic. I featured the Boots Botanics Facail Oil in my November favourites and has been one of the best skin care purchases I made in 2016.
This winter has altered my combination skin, indoors my skin is only slightly drier than normal and outside my skin tightens up with cold. Resulting in dry, flaky skin. So when I was prowling the isles of Boots to find a product to save my poor, dry skin I came across the Boots Botanics Facial Oil 100% Organic.
It’s descried on the packaging as:
This aromatic oil melts into lacklustre skin to lock moisture for 8 hours while softening, conditioning and helping to restore its natural glow. Use regularly to boost the performance of your daily skincare regime.
Th Facial Oil contains rosehip oil which is described on the packet as: Rosehip is nature’s nourishing gem. The seeds are a rich source of essential Omega oils, which help to improve supplements and keep all skin types beautifully soft and healthy looking.
When I first started using this facial oil I was worried it might make the oilier parts of my face even more oily, but I needn’t have worried. My skin has’t become any oilier from using this. I am loving this facial oil, initially when I first started using this I used two drops in the morning and evening after cleansing and before applying moisturiser. Now I use one to two drops in the evening depending on how dry my skin is feeling. For £2.50 this little bottle has really changed my skin for the better! My skin feels more hydrated and better prepared against the cold weather.
What skincare product have you been loving this winter?
Before I go I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for reading, liking, commenting and following my blog. Over the festive period I hit a milestone that I never thought I would. As this month is my blogs first birthday I will be doing my first ever giveaway to celebrate both! So please follow if you’d like to be kept updated on when it’ll be announced! Thank you for reading, until next time!

I used to love this facial oil! It’s brilliant and it was the start of my love for facial oils. I do have a blog post all about them but my favourites currently are Bio-oil and the B. Enriched oil.
Great post 😘💓

My own blog hits two years this month! You never really think it at first but it’s a huge milestone, so congrats. My skin is also oily so I haven’t tried any beauty oils but I may have to soon. X

Great review! I featured my oil in my first part of the favorites: Almond oil. I have super dry skin at this moment and it is doing miracles. I guess when it really comes down to it, we need to use natural products to let our skin recover.

I’ve recently tried this product and I too expected it to make my skin more oily, but in fact it is just really light and moisturising – I’m really impressed for such a low-budget product and it feels muck more expensive in the glass bottle!

Hi! Nice post! I’ve got the same problem as you! The facial oil looks really good, I’ve been using the argan oil from NAOBAY at night and it makes my skin feel much smoother and hydrated. New follower! 😊 Love x https://mylittlebeautysecrets.com

Thank you, I’ve always stayed away from facial oils as I thought they’d make me oilier but it’s really helped my skin!x
