Hello everyone! I hope wherever you are in the world you are having a good day! Today’s post is how to do the helix eyeliner, I have seen this a few times on my social media and really wanted to try it! I love this eyeliner look and it’s easier than I thought! Lets get started!

To start this look off I started on my eyes, I used my Seventeen Define and Conquer contour kit, the contour shade to warm up the crease in my eyes. I didn’t want to do any other eye shadows as I wanted the main focus to be on the liner. I then did my eye liner using L’Oreal Super Slim liner as normal, except I extended the wing out further than usual.

I then used a liquid liner to create the helix part. I chose MUA Velvet Lip Lacquer in Dash and my Real Techniques Silicone brush to draw the squiggly line. I started at the bottom of my liner at the outer corner of my eye. I then drew upwards over the liner and back down under the wing. I then drew upwards once more and made it parallel to the wing.

When the liquid lipstick was dry I then went back over the middle line with my black liner. And voila the helix liner is complete! I then moved onto brows using Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil and Brush in Hot Chocolate and set them using Maybelline Brow Drama Brow Mascara in Transparent.
Moving onto the face I used The Body Shop Tee Tree primer to prime my skin. I then used my new Fresh Nude foundation in the shade 012 Bora Bora from The Body Shop. i’ve only just picked this up and I’m on the fence if I like it or not. The shade is perfect but where my skin is dry from the cold weather it sticks to my dry spots. Hopefully by using a more intense moisturiser it’ll look better! To conceal under my eyes I used NYX HD concealer in Porcelain and to set I used my Seventeen Define and Conquer kit.

For mascara I used Urban Decay Perversion. For blush I used Sleek blush in Rose Gold and to contour I used Seventeen Define and Conquer contour kit. I mixed Royal Gold and Renaissance Gold from the Sleek Precious Metals highlight palette. Finally for lips I used the MUA Velvet Lip Lacquer in Dash to match my eye liner.

And that’s it! I love this helix liner! Any colours can be used and it’s easy to do for an occasion. Plus by using liquid lipsticks there are so many options for colours and cheaper than buying additional eye liners! I am in love with this look, this could be my favourite look I’ve done all year!

Yeah totally! I went through a stage where I always used to practice and got so good, then left it for a while and now it’s like I’ve forgotten how to do it 😂🙈 xx
