Golden Eyes & Bold Lips Makeup Tutorial!

Hello everybody! I have recently been playing with some shadows in my collection and came up with this look! I love wearing warm toned shades, it really suits my eyes. For this look I mainly focused on using a gold. I’ve been itching to use the L’oreal Color Riche Mono Eye shadow in Gold Mania, I picked it up  few weeks ago as I love the L’oreal 206 Little Beige Dress.

To begin this look I first primed my eyes then set it with a skin colour eye shadow. I then took a strip of scotch tape and took away some of the stickiness by applying it to my hand a few times. I applied the strip to the outer part of my eye. I did this to ensure the eye shadow would be straight and looking fierce. To start the eyeshadow I used my Smashbox Full Exposure Palette taking the colours M3 and M4 (a orange and nude toned brown) and a small shader brush I defined my crease.

I then used M1 (a cocoa brown) to deepen the out corner of my eye before adding M6 (a black) on a small fluffy brush to deepen the outer corner. Taking a clean fluffy brush to blend it all out. The star of this look is the L’oreal Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow in Gold Mania. Like my other L’oreal Mono shadow I used MAC Prep + Fix + to make the shadow more intense and easier to apply.  I went back over the outer crease with M1 until I was happy with how deep the colour was. For inner corner eye highlight I used S3 and S4 from the Smashbox Full Exposure palette which I also used for my brow highlight.

I then added black eyeliner using L’oreal Super Slim Perfect Intense as always. Before coating my lashes with mascara using Max Factor Masterpiece High Definition Mascara in Rich Black. Whilst I let my lashes dry before applying falsies I applied my Benefit Porefessional primer. For false lashes I used the Ardel Demi Wispies and Duo Eyelash Adhesive to apply them.

Moving onto foundation I used Max Factor 3-in-1 Facefinity Foundation in Warm Almond and my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to blend it all in. I then used SEVENTEEN Stay Time Concealer in Fair to conceal under my eyes. To set the foundation I used my new NYX Studio Finishing Powder Translucent Finish. I really like this powder, it doesn’t make my skin look cakey and it keeps my T zone less oily looking.

For highlight I used MAC Soft and Gentle and for bronzer I used L’oreal Glam Bronze in Blond Sun. Blush was the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 15 Seductive Pink.

For lips I wanted to make them dark as the eyes were neutral. I used SEVENTEEN Stay Pout in Rule Breaker. Since I received this the other week I’ve been in love with it, it’s a beautiful berry shade. I love wearing this shade with a number of looks I have done when going out.
