GRWM: Date Night Edition!

Hello everyone! I am someone who loves to watch GRWM’s! And although I don’t yet have the confidence or space to start Youtube, I’m still going to show you my GRWM! I am going out tonight with my boyfriend to celebrate his new job, and before I started my make up I didn’t really know where to go, only that I wanted to use more cool tones as warm tones are my comfort zone! And so here is my first GRWM!

To begin this look I am first going to prime my skin using L’oreal Paris Nude Magique Blur Cream in light medium. I think this pore filleris okay, but if I use it too often it breaks me out. I then went over any redness by my nose with Max Factor Colour Corrector the Redness Corrector to help hide the redness I get by my nose. I then used my Max Factor Facefinity 3 in 1 foundation in Warm Almond and my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to stipple the foundation into my skin.
When it was blended in I then filled in my brows using Soap and Glory’s Brow Archery Brow Tint and Pencil in Brownie Points to fill out the start of my brows and Soap and Glory’s Archery 2 in 1  Brow Filling Pencil and Brush in  Hot Chocolate to fill in the arch and tail of my brows.

Then I used my Smashbox Full Exposure Palette using M5 and M3 in the crease to create some warmth using Real Techniques Shading Brush. I used this shade just to add something a bit different to the look. Then going back into the Smashbox palette using a mixture of S2 and S3 using the brush that comes with the palette. I forgot to take a picture of it but I also used Mac Prep + Prime Fix + to wet the brush before using the eye shadow. This was to make the shadow more sparkly and pigmented. In the upper crease I used my Seventeen Easy On The Eye palette in Birthday Suit using the shade Toasted Almond which is a warm pink.

I then added a thin line of eye liner using L’oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Black. This is my favourite eye liner, it’s so easy to apply as it’s just like a pen and it lasts all day/night. And it’s a proper black and doesn’t leave patches. I then coated my top lashes with Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara before applying the Ardell Demi Wispies false lashes. I am late to jump on this band wagon, but I do really like them. When I first applied them they looked really long, as in the length of the lash and I wasn’t really sure on them, but the longer I wore them the more I liked them. To apply the lashes I used the DUO eyelash glue in dark. To coat my lower lashes I used Benefit’s Roller Lash, which in my opinion is perfect for getting the smaller lashes.

I then applied my conceal which is the Seventeen Stay Time Concealer in Fair and setting it with L’oreal True Match powder in Rose Ivory and the Body Shop Blusher Brush. Then I used MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle to highlight my cheekbones using my Real Techniques Tapered Blush Brush and L’oreal Glam Bronze in 00 Blond Sun to warm up my face and give my cheekbones a contour using Real Techniques Contour Brush. Then to finish of the skin I used L’oreal True Match  Le Blush in Rose Nude to give my cheeks a bit of colour. I don’t usually wear blush, I’m not really sure why. But I’m trying to get into it and open up the blush horizons.

For lips I wasn’t really sure what colour to go for, so I picked out 2 different shades to see which was my favourite. The first one is Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in 225 Sultry. This is my go to shade and one of my favourites.

Secondly I chose Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry, this is such a beautiful colour and it’s the one I chose to go with this look. It’s so creamy and it applies super pigmented on the lips. But I would recommend to use a lip liner first so the colour doesn’t bleed out.

And that’s it! I loved wearing this make up!  I just curled my hair and applied Mac Prep + Prime Fix+ to set my make up and I was good to go!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! I loved this make up look, it lasted all night!

What’s your favourite go to lip colour?

You look gorgeous! I tend to lean for a browny/mauve/nude colour for my lips but I’m a sucker for a good red lip too 😊
